What is the difference between a user (or a member) and a guest?
To make it simpler for you to utilize your plan, we have established two user categories. The first category, "Users," have unrestricted entry to their designated area, the ability to participate in channels, see all rooms, bring in new members, alter the workspace, maintain a record of all chat/documents, and have the option to favorite rooms and individuals.The second category, "Guests," are usually invited for specific events or short-term projects. They will only be able to enter Doorway through a unique guest invite link and will not have access to chat channels or a history of their chat/documents. If you plan on using Doorway with your direct team, we recommend inviting them as "Users."Should you have guests for a meeting or event, it is recommended to invite them as "Guests."
